About our Circuit

Our mission as a Circuit is to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate his love through encouraging everyone in our churches to be a good neighbour to one another and a good steward of creation. See our Circuit Policy .

As a Christian community we believe in the importance of helping people find a place where they can feel at home in their spiritual journey. Our congregations welcome everyone, whether you're a lifelong Christian, exploring the Christian faith or seeking answers to questions of faith and belief. We are happy to journey alongside you to discern God's presence, love and guidance through worship, study, fellowship and the nurturing of faith.

Each of our local churches has its own unique history and character and reflects the vibrant tapestry of the community it serves. South Essex Methodist Circuit forms part of the larger Methodist District area that covers Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire. In turn the District is part of the Methodist Church of Britian and Ireland.
