George Quarm

George has pastoral charge of St Paul’s Methodist Church and Trinity Methodist Church in Basildon, and Christ Church United Reformed & Methodist Church, Wickford. He joins the South Essex Circuit with a deep commitment to ministry that is firm in faith, pastoral in spirit and professional in service. His heart is especially drawn to the sick, the dying and the vulnerable, and he believes the Church should be a place of refuge, compassion and practical care, where every person is seen, valued and supported.

George is married to Ewurama (Ama), a Local Preacher, and they have three grown sons. Away from ministry, he enjoys travelling, documentaries, country music and singing, and is a committed Manchester United supporter. His hope for his ministry in South Essex is that we will work, serve and grow together – shaped by grace, strengthened by faith and committed to loving our neighbours.
