St Paul's Big Lunch

St. Paul’s joined the nation in celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III with a “Big Lunch” on Sunday 7th May. Members of the local community were invited to join us and share a buffet meal, before an afternoon of entertainments. These included a Coronation quiz, a game of Coronation bingo and a challenge to “pin the diamond on the Sceptre”. Coronation themed word-searches and puzzles were provided for the younger children.

The church hall had been beautifully decorated with Union Flag bunting and red, white and blue balloons. The Union Flag colours were carried into the table coverings, floral table centres and place settings to give the whole event a very patriotic feeling. The afternoon was enjoyed by over 50 members of the church and the wider community.
